NOTICE OF VACANCIES

The Amador County Board of Supervisors is looking for individuals to serve on the following:

Area 12 Agency on Aging (A12AA) Advisory Board:  The purpose of the Advisory Council is to advise the A12AA Governing Body regarding the needs relating to senior citizens, advocating for local senior citizens, disseminate information to local seniors about programs and legislation, aid A12AA staff in the development planning documents.  There are five (5) citizen-at-large vacancies with the terms of these appointments being for four (4) years.  The Advisory Council meets every other month beginning with February.   Candidates for the position must attend one advisory council meeting and file a supplemental application and interview with A12AA before being formally appointed.
