UNSCHEDULED VACANCY NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Amador County Board of Supervisors is seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the Amador County Planning Commission and will consider making an appointment to fill the vacancy at a regular meeting to be held any time after April 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at the Amador County Administration Center, 810 Court Street, Jackson, California 95642.
The Amador County Board of Supervisors is looking for interested individuals to serve on the following:
Amador County Planning Commission (District III): The Planning Commission administrates the Amador County General Plan through decisions concerning use permits, tentative subdivisions, parcel maps, environmental impact reports, and negative declarations; and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors regarding zone changes, general plan amendments, and variances. Each member shall be appointed by the Board upon the nomination of the Supervisor in whose District said member resides so that each supervisorial district is represented by one (1) Planning Commission member. The term of the respective Planning Commission member shall be coterminous with that of the nominating Supervisor.
The Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. and may meet under special circumstances on the fourth Tuesday as needed, at the Board of Supervisors Chambers located in the County Administration Center, 810 Court Street, Jackson, California.
