In accordance with the State of California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Act, the County of Amador is inviting all interested professional services listed in government code section 4526 and licensed contractors to register for inclusion on the County’s Contractor & Professional Services List. Registration can be accomplished online by visiting the General Services Administration page (under the “Construction and Repair” page) on the County’s website (www.amadorcounty.gov). The County will use these lists to contact professional service providers and contractors for public projects, which may range from minor maintenance, repair, or consulting services to major construction projects.  For smaller jobs, the County may reach out informally. For larger jobs, the County will send an email with a project description and an invitation to bid to those professional service providers and contractors within the relevant category of work. Contractors interested in being on the List are required to have a current license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Professional Service Providers are required to have a current license.
