The County of Amador invites all licensed contractors to register for the Amador County Contractor List.
Please register here: Registration for Placement on Amador County Contractor List
Once registered, you will be added to the Amador County Contractor List.
The County will contact contractors on this list for public projects ranging from small painting and repair jobs to major construction projects. For smaller jobs, the County may reach out to contractors informally. For larger jobs, the County will send an email with a project description and an invitation to bid to those contractors within the relevant category of work.
We encourage members of the public to access the Amador County Contractor List for their private projects. This list is intended not only to help Amador County, but to assist the contractors and residents within Amador County. We encourage contractors inside and outside the County to register.
Are you a licensed contractor, but not familiar with rules for bidding on public projects?
In some cases, particularly on larger public projects, contractors will be required to have sufficient insurance, to obtain bonds, and to perform certified payroll. For a list of accountants who can help with certified payroll, and for a list of insurance and bonding companies, please click here: Guidance for Local Contractors.
If you are an accountant who provides certified payroll, or you are a bond or insurance company that would like to be added to the list, please contact Amador County at GSA-CUPCCAA@amadorcounty.gov.
Please review the Terms and Conditions that will be incorporated into your contract with the County. These terms and conditions will address bond, insurance, prevailing wage, and other requirements for County contracting.
The County of Amador may only award construction contracts to contractors and subcontractors that comply with California's Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) rules. More information is available at the following link: DIR Information.
Before bidding on public construction jobs, contractors must register here: DIR Registration.
Please note all subcontractors must be registered, in addition to the bidding contractor.
