The Library invites all to read, create, learn, and imagine during the Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story.”
Registration begins June 1 at any Amador County Library branch. All ages are welcome to participate.
READING LOGS
Reading and activities logged through July 31, 2026 will count towards the program. Earn prizes by reaching reading milestones!
- Kids (ages 0-12)
- Read 15 minutes a day & earn a milestone prize for every 105 minutes read.
- Teens (ages 13-17)
- Read 30 minutes a day & earn a milestone prize for every 210 minutes read.
- Adult (ages 18+)
- Read 30 minutes a day & earn a milestone prize for every 210 minutes read.
Return reading logs and redeem prizes by July 31, 2026. Raffle winners will be notified by August 10, 2026.
Prizes are generously donated by the City of Jackson, Jackson Cinema, and the Friends of the Amador County Library.
EVENTS
The Library is hosting events all summer long! All ages are welcome but events are geared towards elementary school-aged kids.
