A special event encroachment permit is required for any gathering, event, activity, or parade, taking place on any county maintained road to insure the safe conduct of the traveling public on 2025 Maintained Mileage List - By Street Name Submit a special event encroachment permit ( Special Event Encroachment Application - 052022 - fillable ) and $625 fee a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the event. Also, include any applicable information such as insurance documents, site maps, traffic control plan, etc. See below for upcoming special events. Please print a copy of the Special Event - General Insurance Requirements document to assist your insurance company with Amador County's requirements.
